Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance or offer a sliding scale?

I currently accept: UnitedHealthcare, Optum, UMR, Oxford, All Savers, UHC, Aetna, AARP, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Part B. I also offer a sliding scale. Please feel free to contact me for more information about using insurance, or about therapy rates.

How are EMDR and RRT sessions structured?

Structure of EMDR and RRT sessions vary based on different factors, but are ideally longer sessions - 2 or 3 hours at a time - to allow for more healing to take place each session. While a longer session is preferred for these services, it isn’t necessary. We can discuss options more on the phone or in session.

What are your rates?

Individual psychotherapy sessions are $150. Rates vary depending on services chosen. RRT and EMDR session rates depend on session length. For more information regarding pricing of RRT and EMDR sessions, please contact me.

How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

It’s important to me that you feel seen, heard and understood. I encourage you to discuss these types of questions with me in session or during a phone consult. I support you feeling comfortable in your choice of therapist - whoever it may be. Seeking support from someone new, is a brave step itself!
