About Me

Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Sarah and it is my intention that our time together will be impactful, and create meaningful change for you. Whether you know exactly what you want to shift, or maybe you experience something you can’t pinpoint, or maybe you just feel you could be happier; therapy can help. I believe strongly in the wisdom in each of us and our powerful ability to change. I am interested in getting to know you and understanding how I can be of service, so that you can experience your own healing and growth.

While I treat a variety of symptoms, my specialty is trauma. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Rapid Resolution Therapy. I also integrate other modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy. These modalities are tailored to you, and aim to eliminate re-traumatization and allow for deep change. While I specialize in trauma, I have experience with a variety of diagnoses and areas, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, relationship or interpersonal challenges, autism, gender identity and sexual orientation, difficulty coping, and others. I have experience and training with the LGBTQ+ community, including assisting in accessing gender-affirming care, and running family and LBTQ-specific trauma support groups.

Therapy, and changes – even positive changes – can feel unfamiliar or intimidating. I’d like to collaborate with you to make this process as comfortable for you as possible. As a person and professional, I deeply believe in the power and importance of feeling seen and heard, without judgement, by another person. I also deeply believe in using solution-oriented modalities so you can achieve your goals in a timely manner, and feel better, sooner. I actively work to embody these values in my practice. I would love to get to know you! I offer free 15-minute consultations, so you can see if we’re a good fit, and if you’d like to meet.
